Fix Yourself Before Fixing Others.

The girl dreamed of a day her family would see their follies and for the years of suffering inflicted upon her, they would finally beg for her forgiveness, say how proud they are of her and say they are sorry. 

Her focus was toward making them into better people, even if it meant enabling their poor behavior. 

What was seen, by her, as a generous act of giving money yet again, was empowering their bad choices. 

People who are not willing to seek help will not be open to help if offered directly or indirectly via subtle means.

To be equipped to finally deal with the deep problems that are holding someone else back you must first fix yourself, integrate yourself, align yourself, and deal with your own problems before you can fix your family or fix the world.
