Burn 1 Billion In Stock Options?

Jean Paul Sartre to his horror, won a Nobel prize and wrote a long, detailed rejection of the letter which was published in the Le Monde for the Swedish Press on Dec 17, 1964, and it was his wish as he was notified prior to the announcement (you won't be notified of until your winning) so he could decline it. He stated his philosophical reasoning why.

Marlon Brando won an Oscar for his role as Vito Corleone in Francis Ford Cappola's The Godfather but turned down the Oscar in a very public display by having sent Sacheen Littlefeather in his place to represent the native Indian's of America and protest their treatment.

Seth Godin, a very famous entrepreneur, sold his company Yoyodyne to Yahoo for 30 million and then turned down 1 billion dollars worth of stock options in a subsequent move because he didn't want to be away from his family as the workload would be too much for him and would cost him more than money.
