Advanced Preparation.

Recently I was on a podcast as a guest. However, there was no email, no survey, no recall at all about the show subject.

I had zero clues as to the content we would discuss. 

This show has a respectably sized audience and is aired on many radio stations.

But I had been training for this moment because I committed to doing live speaking events every month for two years. 

I had been preparing for the show by writing out dozens of frameworks for a multitude of topics and content ideas in my notebooks over the years. 

When the call came in. 

I could answer and with confidence, I knew I could handle anything. 

The topic was a curveball but I had an exact framework already written in one of my books we could use.

I didn’t lose credibility and importantly didn’t waste the awesome host's time.

The saying is “you don’t rise to the occasion you fall back in your training and preparation.”
